PAYMENT & REFUND POLICIES

These Payment & Refund Policies contain important information about participating in NOMATRIBE Trip or Expedition and using the services provided by NOMA TRAVELS LLC. By booking a Trip or using our services, you ("Participant”) agree to these policies in addition to the NOMATRIBE Terms and Conditions.

BOOKING AND DEPOSITS

Reserve Your Spot

To reserve your space on a NOMATRIBE trip or expedition a deposit of USD500 is required upon commitment to a specific trip. This deposit is 100% refundable until 45 days before the trip or can be transferred to another trip.

Payment Options

  • Option 1: Pay 50% one month after booking, and the remaining 50% at least 45 days before the trip.

  • Option 2: Pay 100% either one month after booking or 45 days before the trip.

Payment Methods

Pay with credit/debit cards, US bank transfers, or Wise. Note: There’s a 5% surcharge for card payments made via Stripe and between 3.9 - 4.9 % for payments made via We Travel. 

Late Payments

If you pay late, a 5% fee will apply.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Full Refund (Within 24 Hours)

Cancel your booking within 24 hours for a full refund if your trip starts more than 60 days away. For trips starting in less than 45 days, you still have 24 hours to cancel for a full refund. After this period, payments are non-refundable.

Partial Refund or Future Credit (60+ Days Before Trip) 

 If you cancel 60 or more days before the trip, you can:

  • Get a full credit for a future trip (valid for 365 days)

  • Get a 80% refund of the amount paid, minus a USD 100 banking and application processing fee.

Partial Refund or Future Credit (45+ Days Before Trip) 

 If you cancel 45 or more days before the trip, you can:

  • Get a full credit for a future trip (valid for 365 days)

  • Get a 50% refund of the amount paid, minus a USD 100 banking and application processing fee.

No Refunds (0-45 Days Before Trip)

  • If you cancel within 45 days of the trip, no refunds or credits will be issued.

No-Show Policy

  • If you don't show up for your trip, no refunds or credits will be provided.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Extreme Situations (Within 45 Days of Trip)

In cases like natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or pandemics, NOMATRIBE may offer partial refunds or credits. Personal emergencies (illness, family emergencies) are not eligible for refunds.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants within 45 days of the trip. It should cover trip cancellations, medical expenses, and other unexpected issues. Proof of insurance is required 30 days before the trip.

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

Transfers to Another Trip

You can transfer to another trip if you request it at least 60 days before your trip. A $100 transfer fee applies.

Price Differences 

If your new trip is more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference. If it’s cheaper, you’ll get a credit for the difference, valid for 365 days.

Changes Within 60 Days

No changes can be made within 60 days of your trip.

BOOKING AS A COUPLE

Couples need to book separately but follow these steps:

  • First person books at full price. 

  • The second person uses a custom link to get a 70% discount on accommodation. 

  • Important: The second person’s discount only applies to accommodation. For included activities as week activities and weekend excursions, the second person pays at 100%. 

NOMATRIBE CANCELLATION OF A TRIP OR EXPEDITION

Cancellation Before Departure

NOMATRIBE reserves the right to cancel any trip or expedition prior to departure for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Low enrollment (minimum 6 participants per trip or expedition)

  • Economic infeasibility to operate the trip or expedition

  • Safety, health, or welfare concerns regarding participants

If NOMATRIBE cancels a trip or expedition before departure:

  • Participants will receive a full refund of any money paid to NOMATRIBE.

  • If the cancellation is due to a significant event making the trip infeasible (such as natural disasters, political instability, etc.), NOMATRIBE will refund all money paid. Additionally, NOMATRIBE may offer a refund or credit toward a future trip or expedition, equivalent to any remaining monies paid.

  • Any credit provided will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

NOMATRIBE is not responsible for any non-refundable expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the canceled trip or expedition, or any additional arrangements made by participants. 

Please note that a minimum of 6 participants is required 45 days prior to the start date of the trip. We will notify you with the trip confirmation by day 45 before the trip

Cancellation During the Trip or Expedition

NOMATRIBE reserves the right to cancel a trip or expedition in progress for reasons concerning the safety, health, or welfare of participants. If this happens:

  • Participants will receive a prorated refund of the amount they paid.

  • NOMATRIBE is not responsible for any non-refundable expenses incurred by participants before or after the cancellation of the trip or expedition.

Delays or Interruptions

NOMATRIBE may also delay or interrupt the start or progress of a trip or expedition due to:

  • Travel or quarantine restrictions

  • Health and safety concerns

  • The closure of accommodations, businesses, or services due to lockdowns or similar events

In such cases:

  • NOMATRIBE will contact participants regarding alternative launch dates or arrangements.

  • Participants will be responsible for additional costs caused by the interruption (e.g., extra travel, accommodation, food).

  • You may be able to seek reimbursement from your travel insurance for these additional costs.

  • NOMATRIBE will make reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of such interruptions but cannot be held liable for additional expenses incurred.

OTHER POLICIES

Unused Services

No refunds or credits for unused portions of the trip.

Add-Ons

Optional add-ons (e.g., excursions) are non-refundable.
